Ricky Ponting heroic 164 was completely overshadowed by Hershelle Gibbs 175 and Mark Boucher scintillating 50.

When every other bowler was getting bashed, Nathan Bracken took five wicket hall in the match.

#2 India 362/1

It was 2013, Australian ODI team was going through a transition phase and India was the next superpower. Although, it wasn’t a nail biting finish. India easily chased the mammoth target of 360 set by Australia. Virat Kohli scored the fastest century scored by an Indian followed by Rohit Sharma gigantic super century. He scored 141* in the match. India chased 360 runs in just 43.3 overs with 6.3 overs remaining in the match.

It was the second ODI of the series during the Australia tour of India and the venue was Sawai Man Singh stadium in Jaipur.

Indian team in 2013 was in red hot form completely demolishing the opposition. This was the second time in the series, when Indian team chased a 350+ score as if they are playing with school boys. Virat Kohli again rose to the occasion and blasted Australia with 115 not out, giving Australian the taste of their own medicine. Shikhar Dhawan too made a scorching hundred. From the Australia camp made his highest one day score (156).

It was the sixth ODI of the Indo- Australia series. The venue was Nagpur.

The Australia team posted a mammoth total of 336 runs in 50 overs, but New Zealanders played cricket in Australian style defeating  the Kangaroos. They chased the target in just 48.4 overs with 8 balls to spare.

Ross Taylor played the match winning knock of 117 . The match was played in Auckland on February 18, 2007.

The year was 2011, England was touring Australia to play the Ashes and One day series. England was looking ruthless on the day. They posted the mammoth total of 336 runs in 50 overs. Jonathan Trott smashed the Australian pace battery with a blistering 137.

Down and Australia team bounced back, lifted the spirit with high head and showed their real charisma  chasing the target in just 49.2 overs with 4 balls to spare. None of the Australian player scored a century, but collective team effort backed by 3 fifties won the match. Australia on their day can not do anything wrong, they are invincible.

#7 New Zealand 332/8

2005 was the year of surprises and setbacks. World champion Australia lost the Ashes after 18 years, but this wasn’t the end, more was to come. It was Australia tour of New Zealand  in 2005, Australia and New Zealand were playing the third ODI. Australia scored 331/7 in 50 overs expecting an easy win, but it proved to be nail biting finish for New Zealand. Despite all odds, the team easily scored 332 runs in 49 overs.

Every match between India and Pakistan is a blockbuster. It is a clash between the two titans. It was the fifth match of the Asia Cup in 2012. Pakistan openers gave them a solid start. Naseer Jamshed and Mohammad Hafeez posted the century, taking the team total to 329/6 in 50 overs.

India in reply started off to a flier, Virat Kohli played the innings of his life, scoring matchwinning 183 backed by Rohit Sharma matured 50 and Sachin Tendulkar flamboyant 52. India chased the target in 47.5 overs with 15 balls to spare.

It was a major setback for New Zealand as the Zimbabwe team outclassed them in all departments  and easily chasing 329 runs in 50 over. M.N. Waller scored the winning knock of 99, although he missed the century. The match was played in Queens Sports Club, Bulawayo on October 25, 2011.
